The recent cold snap has broken and at the pasture the horses are grooving on the sun and warmer temperatures.
When I went to get our two old sweeties, I found Pepper stretched out on the ground sound asleep. Bud stood close by, eyes closed, snoozing standing up as horses do.
It’s always been a skill I wish I had.
As I rounded the corner past the shed, I found Mama and Brio chillaxing in the sun.
Don’t they look cozy?
Yet again the horses teach me to be present to this very moment, not thinking about the past or future.
Relaxing in the sun.
Grateful for the warm weather.
Happy to be with my herd.
All to gether now: Ah…
Have a great weekend!
